Stephanie attended the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts, which has an illustrious list of alumni including: Spencer Tracey, Grace Kelly, Danny DeVito, Adrien Brody, Jessica Chastain and many more. While at the Academy she studied Restoration Comedy, Shakespeare, Mask Work, and the Stainivlaski and Meisner methods. She was cast in The Country Girl, Uncommon Women and Others, The Importance of Being Ernest and other classical plays. Upon graduation Stephanie continued her studies at UCB, graduating from their improv program. Additionally she has studied at The Groundlings. She has performed improv around LA at UCB and iO West on indie teams. She has also studied at Anthony Meindel's Actor Workshop, with Elizabeth Mestnick, and at South Coast Repertory with Hisa Takanawa. With a love of theatre, Stephanie has been in many Los Angeles stage productions. Some of her work includes: Overtures at The Underground Theatre, Midsummer Night's Dream at Zombie Joe's Underground, and In Dream which premiered at Theatre of Note. She has also traveled to Nova Scotia to perform in What Comes Next? at the Halifax Fringe Festival. She was a tour guide at Universal Studios and "DJ Stephanie" for Radio Disney, so she knows how to work a crowd. Commercially, you may have seen Stephanie is spots for Maxwell House, Bank of the Ozarks, Domtar Paper, Kroger, 1800Flowers.com, UpThere. She has been in many indie films and just wrapped the thriller Loop by writer/director Tsubasa Maruno. You can also catch her on Lifetime's My Crazy Ex. Stephanie is proud to be an instructor at Barbizon and Star Theatre and loves to pass her knowledge of the industry on to the next generation of performers. Her favorite part of being a teacher is seeing a child gain confidence in not just their acting, or modeling skills, but life. |
